Well-known in western Canada, the Edo Japan brand has aggressively grown in Eastern Canada and in 2023 was ready to launch into the Greater Toronto Area market space. A highly competitive market for PR and media, our team was challenged to create big impact and to sustain the ‘buzz’ across a year-long campaign.
With so much ‘foodie’ and consumer competition, we turned to PR—earned media and sponsored content and influencer engagement—to generate buzz in the 25-40 ‘foodie’ demographic. We identified and formed partnerships with key influencers and community and regional media to find unique ways and channels to tell the Edo Japan story.
